I only began painting at Christmas, after years of working mainly in pencil. Art has always been a part of my life — I studied it at school and earned an A* in GCSE, but I never imagined I’d be able to paint. That changed when I inherited a set of brushes and paints from my late mother-in-law, Jean. Picking them up for the first time opened a new world for me, and since then I haven’t looked back.

Painting quickly became an escape — a place where I can shut out the noise of everyday life and lose myself in creativity. My work draws inspiration from old-school horror films, Halloween, gothic imagery, and the darker side of art. At the same time, I also love painting faces and more delicate, beautiful subjects. My portfolio is a true mix, often shifting with my mood at the time.

Most recently, I’ve begun creating handmade wooden decorations for Halloween and Christmas — another way to share my love for the spooky, the festive, and everything in between.

At the heart of it all, I paint because I love it. Every piece is part of my journey as an artist, and I’m excited to see where it takes me.
